Katz and Netanyahu threaten the Palestinian Authority with all-out war following a stabbing attack near Nablus

Following the stabbing attack in the south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank, Katz said, Netanyahu issued instructions to the Israeli army “to prepare to launch a comprehensive war against senior officials of the Palestinian Authority, its mechanisms and bodies associated with it, and against all terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria, with the aim of achieving its complete defeat as quickly as possible.”

He pointed out that Israel's policy in the West Bank is based on pursuing "Palestinian terrorism," developing Jewish settlements, and maintaining security stability, indicating that the level of terrorism in the West Bank currently is the lowest in decades.

He warned that "any attempt to launch a large-scale attack similar to the 7th of October against Israeli forces or settlements will be met with a comprehensive war against senior officials and agencies of the Palestinian Authority and its associated parties, and against all terrorist infrastructure in the region."

In turn, Netanyahu said in a separate statement: “No terrorist can hide. I praise our heroic fighters who clashed with the enemy and eliminated the terrorist who carried out the attack in Samaria. I wish a full recovery to the farm owner who was injured in the attack.”

He continued: "We will continue to eliminate terrorists, pursue those who send them, and destroy the terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria. Anyone who tries to threaten the State of Israel and its citizens will pay a heavy price."

This morning, a Palestinian carried out a stabbing attack on a farm near the village of Osrin, south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank, which resulted in a settler being seriously injured.

About an hour after the incident, a force from the 411th Artillery Battalion was able to locate the attacker’s car outside a house in the village of Qabalan. When the soldiers entered the house, he tried to stab them from a zero distance, so the company commander neutralized him by shooting him.

Samaria Council Chairman Yossi Dagan praised the operation, calling for "a complete encirclement of the area, a broad military operation, the collection of weapons, and the dismantling of the infrastructure of terrorist supporters."
