Oh Tae-wan, mayor of Uiryeong-gun, launches the 9th popularly elected term... Presenting the vision of ‘the great center of Gyeongnam’

Oh Tae-wan, mayor of Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, who succeeded in his third term in the June 3 local elections, took office on the 1st and began his 9th popularly elected term.

At the 'Great Uiryeong Golden Era Inauguration Ceremony' held at the Uiryeong County People's Cultural Center this morning, County Governor Oh said, "The 9th popular election is not the time for a new county governor to begin," and "It is time to start again with greater responsibility entrusted to us by the citizens."

He emphasized, “Uiryeong is the smallest county in Gyeongsangnam-do, but its potential is not small,” and “Uiryeong has the power to create results rather than conditions and turn limitations into possibilities.”

Governor Oh presented ‘the great center of Gyeongnam’ as a new vision for the 9th popularly elected election.

This means that based on the strength of Gyeongnam's geographical center, we will leap forward to become a center that leads growth, innovation, and quality of life.

As key implementation strategies for the 9th popular election, the Uiryeong-type life cycle welfare policy 'Ocare' and the era of living population of 2.5 million were presented.

County Governor Oh said, “We will open a golden age of life, a golden age of vitality, a golden age of leaps and bounds, and a golden era of abundance,” and added, “We will develop a military government that fosters dreams, builds the future, and shares happiness with the residents.”
