The "Lukang Dragon Boat Festival" series of activities is known as the most flavorful of the Dragon Boat Festival. Chen Zhisheng, chairman of the Chaoyang Lukang Association, said that this year is the 30th year of the "Lu Ban Banquet". Many veteran artists have participated in the exhibition for 30 consecutive years. They are not only striving for excellence in the process of craft creation, but this year's 9 national treasures not only presented the best of the year In the creation, the disciples taught by Guobao also produced the most satisfactory works, allowing the teachers and students of Guobao to join hands in a craft competition in front of the ancestor Lu Bangong, and also reported to the ancestor that he had passed on his special skills to his disciples, so that the craftsmanship could continue to flourish.

Chen Zhisheng said that last year there were 108 craft viewing tables, and this year there were 9 more tables, bringing the total to 117. The increase was the students taught by the 9 living national treasures. In addition to the living national treasures, there are 35 county and city-level preservation technicians, more than 20 craft house craftsmen, and young artists participating in the exhibition for the first time. On site, students from Lujiang Elementary and Middle Schools gave tours in Mandarin and Taiwanese.

Changhua County Magistrate Wang Huimei said that many people who come to Lukang during the Dragon Boat Festival are curious about why there is always a "Luban Banquet". This is because the birthday of Luban Gong, the founder of the crafts world, is May 7 of the lunar calendar. In the early years, Lukang's wood carving and furniture craftsmanship was very famous. Originally, craftsmen worshiped Lukang, and later Chaoyang Lukang Lukang Since 1996, the association has organized the gods of the Qing Dynasty into a cultural exhibition called the "Wood Art Banquet for the Patriarch", combined with the Lu Ban Gong Ceremony, and then launched the "Lu Ban Gong Banquet". This cultural activity uses "table viewing" to worship the ancestors. It was also registered as a folk intangible cultural asset of Changhua County in 2008.
