"Red Notice Person" Zeng Nenggui Extradited Back to China

Recently, under the overall coordination of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group’s International Fugitive and Asset Recovery Office, and through international law enforcement and judicial cooperation, Zeng Nenggui, a “Red Notice Person” and a criminal suspect who fled his job, was extradited back to the country.

Zeng Nenggui, male, born in September 1962, is the former director of the Poverty Alleviation and Immigration Office of Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. He was suspected of accepting bribes in poverty alleviation projects and fled in January 2024. In August 2024, the Ruijin Municipal Supervisory Committee launched an investigation into it. In January 2026, Interpol issued a red notice for it. After close cooperation with the law enforcement and judicial departments of relevant countries, he was arrested overseas and extradited back to China in September 2026.

The person in charge of the Central Commission for Escape from Pursuit said that Zeng Nenggui is a typical example of unhealthy practices and corruption problems around the masses. His arrest is an important result of the disciplinary inspection and supervision agencies' implementation of the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the in-depth launch of the "Skynet 2026" operation, and the centralized rectification of corruption problems around the masses. We will continue to deepen international cooperation in anti-corruption, continue to build a "sky net" to pursue fugitives and recover stolen goods, improve our anti-cross-border corruption capabilities, and provide strong support for winning the protracted war against corruption.
