Xiamen Bank Chongqing Branch launches two financial products exclusive to Taiwanese compatriots and enterprises

China News Service, Chongqing, September 8 (Reporter Zhong Yi) At the 2026 Cross-Strait Youth Chasing Dreams and Chongqing Employment and Entrepreneurship Seminar held in Chongqing on the 8th, Xiamen Bank Chongqing Branch released two customized financial products, "Yutai Housing Loan" and "Chongqing Tainong Loan", to provide Taiwanese compatriots and Taiwanese companies developing in Chongqing with financial guarantees for settling down and starting a business.

Xiamen Bank is the first city commercial bank in mainland China with Taiwanese capital background. The Chongqing Branch is the only branch established by the head office outside Fujian Province. Wang Shanshan, vice president of Xiamen Bank Chongqing Branch, said that in the past, Taiwanese compatriots faced pain points such as difficulty in credit verification, non-interoperability of identity materials, and cumbersome cross-border fund transfers when applying for housing loans on the mainland. "Yutai Anju Loan" is a housing mortgage loan product specially designed for Taiwan compatriots. It is the first in Chongqing to recognize Taiwan's JCIC (Joint Credit Information Center) credit report as the basis for approval. It is also equipped with integrated cross-border foreign exchange settlement services, which will further enhance the convenience of Taiwan compatriots buying property.

"Chongqing Tainong Loan" is aimed at Taiwanese-funded agricultural enterprises in Chongqing, accurately matching the funding needs of Taiwanese agricultural enterprises of different sizes and different business types. Agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery can be loaned up to 4 million yuan, and agriculture-related manufacturing industries can be loaned up to 15 million yuan, with differentiated credit lines and green channels.

At the seminar, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government collaborated with more than 310 key enterprises in the city to launch more than 3,300 employment and internship positions for Taiwanese youth, covering multiple key industrial fields such as intelligent connected new energy vehicles, electronic information, cultural and creative design, and modern service industries, involving more than 730 types of work. There are internships and campus recruitment positions for fresh graduates, as well as mid-to-high-end technical and management positions for professional talents, fully taking into account the development needs of Taiwanese youth with different academic qualifications, different qualifications, and different fields.
