In Malaysia, an unknown predator tore and ate a man in the Sultanate of Perak. This was reported by Malay Mail.

Zamberi Angah, 42, disappeared on the afternoon of September 21 after going into the jungle to collect plants. In the evening, a search operation began with the participation of police officers and local residents. They soon discovered the remains of Angah in a thicket of bamboo.

The man's lower body was gnawed off. It turned out that the predator dragged him 200 meters into the thicket. It is still unknown what animal attacked the man. Based on evidence collected at the scene, authorities suspected it was a tiger.

A local council member later stated that he had already contacted Angah's family and provided them with financial assistance. Traps will be set in the attack area.
