UK single mother dies from heatstroke while descending Mount Snowdon

A single mother went with fellow travelers to a mountain in Europe and did not survive the climb. The Sun newspaper reported this.

The tragedy happened to 35-year-old British resident Sophie Goodyear-Bird on July 10, but details from the trial have recently emerged. Goodyear-Bird, who had conquered Mount Snowdon with her friend in temperatures above 30 degrees, lost consciousness in front of tourists while descending from the summit.

Eyewitnesses rushed to bring her to her senses: they began performing chest compressions and artificial respiration until the rescuers arrived, but the traveler never came to her senses. She was pronounced dead at 2:18 p.m. at the scene. The cause of death was heat stroke. It is clarified that the tourist still has a 12-year-old son at home.
