Fiorentina seeks first victory against Torino after two initial defeats

Against Torino to move the zero in the standings and win the first victory in this championship after the two initial defeats. It is the goal of Fiorentina expected tomorrow at the Franchi (3pm) from the second match in a row after the one lost last Saturday against Frosinone on the day of the club's centenary. "The match against the Granata represents a beautiful, stimulating opportunity which we will try to seize. We have prepared for this, determined to remedy the mistakes made at the start of the season and to show our qualities", declared Fabio Grosso to whom the club handed over a Fiorentina team which emerged revolutionized from the transfer market that had just concluded. Not all the requests have been fulfilled (for example another left back has not arrived) but the Viola coach is looking ahead: "The whirlwind of who leaves and who arrives is over, the club has made great investments, the squad has a lot of potential which we will aim to make the most of in order to become a strong team. A difficult match awaits us against an opponent who wants revenge but it's the same for us too".

Torino, like Fiorentina, is still stuck at 0 points and is full of former players, three who arrived from Florence in the summer session: Comuzzo, Fortini and, a few days ago, Mandragora who in the greeting message posted on Instagram spoke about the climate and relationships that have changed in recent months within Fiorentina.

"The idea was to recreate a new project, there have been many changes from every point of view - replied the Viola coach - and in any case when things happen and because all those directly involved made them happen. I had an excellent relationship with Rolando, he has always been professional, like all his teammates".

Grosso did not say too much about the lineup, reiterating that he will decide at the last moment: among the four new arrivals in the last few days of the transfer market, the favorite from the start is the former Granata Njie who in the 4-3-3 would form the trident with Mastantuono and Pellegrino currently ahead of Beto.
