Apple's Siri AI now supports Japanese, available with OS update

[Silicon Valley Current Affairs] Apple announced on the 26th that it will begin offering its voice assistant function "Siri AI", which is powered by artificial intelligence (AI), in Japanese. It can give instructions via voice, learn the user's situation from interactions and data, and provide support.

It began offering it in English in September of this year. In addition to Japanese, it also supports French, Spanish, Korean, and other languages. It can be used by updating the basic software (OS) of the main smartphone "iPhone" to the latest version.

Just like traditional Siri, you can activate it by saying, "Hey, Siri." It can be used to understand the information on the screen and add events to your calendar, or to search for the message you need from ambiguous instructions. The underlying AI model uses technology from Google.
