Blogger Lerchek's case transferred to another judge

The criminal case of blogger Valeria Chekalina (Lerchek) was transferred for consideration to another judge. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to materials at the agency’s disposal.

The materials were transferred from judge Ekaterina Kuzmina, who suspended the case until the blogger recovered from stage four stomach cancer, to judge Dzhemal Kurbanov. At the same time, the prosecutor’s office with a request to order a second comprehensive forensic medical examination has not yet been received by the court.
