Several Chinese car models have been banned in Russia

Based on the results of control measures, Rosstandart banned the release into circulation of some trucks and models of special equipment of four Chinese brands. This is reported on the department's website.

We are talking about DFRZ-35 (Dongfeng), 77N5BJ (Foton), XCT50G5-1S (XCMG) and K7 (Jac). Similar measures have been taken in relation to the manufacturers of special and specialized vehicles 77ADJL (based on the JAC vehicle), SE27 (based on the Kia), TD-001 (based on the Shacman), N382a-A2 (based on the Faw) and KFN332 (based on the Ford).

These vehicles do not meet safety requirements, including with regard to braking systems, exhausts, safety of external protrusions, places for fastening seat belts and protective properties of cabins, as well as external and internal noise.

Problems were also found in lighting and light signaling and in equipping brands with emergency call devices, side and rear protective devices. These factors can lead to emergency situations and threaten the life and health of road users and other people.

The press release states that manufacturers and dealerships have already suspended sales of problematic products and have begun developing programs to eliminate the causes of complaints.

Rosstandart is awaiting the submission of programs to coordinate the work. The agency representative recalled that all restrictions on the release of Shacman SX3258 wheeled vehicles were recently lifted because the manufacturer corrected the problems found during the inspection.
