The last hours witnessed Al-Taawoun officially announcing the inclusion of the duo Faris Al-Ghamdi, coming from Al-Ettifaq Club, and Ibrahim Mahnashi, coming from Al-Qadisiyah Club, and this step comes with contracts extending for three years, with the option of renewing for an additional season for each of them.
Al-Riyadh Saudi Club announced its contract with right-back Awad Dahl, coming from Al-Ettifaq Club, to strengthen the team’s ranks during the new season.
The club welcomed the player through its official account on the “X” platform, in a post that carried the phrase: “Awad Dahl... to Al-Wusta School... welcome to Riyadh,” accompanied by a picture of the player in the team’s shirt.
Dahl is 21 years old. He was born on February 23, 2005, and plays in the right-back position, according to official data from the Saudi Professional League and the Saudi Football Federation.
Dahl previously represented the Saudi national teams for the Sunni categories, and was on the list of the Saudi under-21 team in the March 2026 camp. He was also called to the list of the team participating in the football competitions of the “Nagoya 2026” Asian Games.
Al-Koloud Club closed the file for contracting with a foreign goalkeeper for the current season, preferring to rely entirely on national elements to protect its team. This decision came to reflect the administration’s approach towards strengthening confidence in local cadres and providing the foreign player slot to support other positions on the field.
