First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko and Governor of the Volgograd Region Andrei Bocharov visited the Young Hawk center and the Avangard defense sports camp.

The Avangard camp hosts all-Russian shifts, district and final stages of Zarnitsa 2.0, as well as training for schoolchildren in basic military training.

VOLGOGRAD, September 5 - RIA Novosti. A modern center for training in controlling quadcopters “Drone Race” has opened in the Volgograd region, the regional administration reports.

On Saturday, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko and Governor of the Volgograd Region Andrei Bocharov visited the Young Hawk center and the Avangard defense sports camp, where they got acquainted with the work of the center, and they also inspected the key objects of patriotic education involved in the finals of the All-Russian military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0".

“Today, a modern “Drone Race” center began operating at the site with specially equipped tracks for training, training and competitions in the new high-tech sport of controlling quadcopters,” the authorities said in a statement on the website.

They clarified that Kiriyenko and Bocharov visited a modern shooting range with several shooting galleries, a “zoo” exhibition with samples of enemy military equipment, and an underground control center designed to practice battle management skills.
