New Taipei City mayoral candidate Li Sichuan establishes dentist support association and promises to promote comprehensive fluoride application and disability subsidies

As the New Taipei City mayoral election heats up, Kuomintang candidate Li Sichuan established a dentist support association today (4th). Many young dentists and nurses came to support the event and shouted "frozen garlic". Gao Junhua, chairman of the Dentists Association, praised Li Sichuan for his three consecutive terms as deputy mayor and his solid basic skills without a break-in period. Li Sichuan detailed his experience in building many municipal hospitals in the past and promised to comprehensively promote fluoride application and increase subsidies for the disabled, and fully serve as a strong backing for the dental profession.

Gao Junhua pointed out in his speech that Li Sichuan started out as a grassroots civil servant and served as deputy mayor of Taipei County, New Taipei City, Kaohsiung City and Taipei City. Li Sichuan has very strong basic skills. He can immediately start municipal construction as soon as he takes office. There is no need to go through a running-in period. He is familiar with the two provinces and has the best construction results. He knows how to take care of people and has dedicated his life to the country.

Li Sichuan said in his speech that he has been engaged in engineering all his life, but he has the closest relationship with doctors. From the Taipei Municipal United Hospital System, Yangming, Heping, Zhongxing, Zhongxiao, Guandu, to Tucheng Hospital in New Taipei, he has either participated in the design or construction. He laughed and said, "Although he cannot see a doctor or treat his teeth, he can build a hospital so that everyone can take care of all citizens."

When talking about dental politics, Li Sichuan said that toothache is indeed very hard, so he promotes comprehensive fluoride application, from caulking in primary schools, postpartum dental protection for mothers, to care for the disabled and increasing related subsidies to ensure that fluoride can be applied from childhood to old teeth to maintain health. Li promised that if he returns to New Taipei, he will be the biggest supporter of the dental association and will go all out as long as the government can do it.

Li Sichuan also mentioned that people who went to District 29 to hand over business cards often mistook his callbacks as scam calls, and called on everyone to use LINE to help canvass, urge and secure votes in the group. He emphasized that he will definitely take over the good job handed down by Mayor Hou Youyi. What he takes over is not the position but the responsibility; Hou Youyi will take good care of what has been done, speed up the construction, and implement the plans, and work hard for New Taipei.
