The driver of a city bus that drove into a supermarket building in Simferopol, according to preliminary data, became ill; there were 16 people on board, the number of victims is being clarified, the press service of the Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs told RIA Novosti.

It has been previously established that on Monday the driver driving the bus, moving along city route No. 94 in Simferopol, felt unwell and collided with several cars. After which, he lost control and drove into the entrance of the shopping center, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

“At the time of the accident, there were 16 passengers on the bus, in addition to the driver. As a result of the accident: the number of victims is being clarified,” the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
