Звинчук, его супруга Валерия и трое их коллег были задержаны в пятницу в городе Рисан в Черногории. Официальный представитель МИД РФ Мария Захарова впоследствии сообщила РИА Новости, что задержанные в Черногории россияне отпущены.
В ночь с субботы на воскресенье Звинчук вместе командой проекта "Рыбарь" вернулись в Россию.
"И государство, и частные структуры сработали слаженно. По нам отрабатывали, для нашего освобождения, - правительство Российской Федерации, Министерство иностранных дел, наши специальные службы", - сказал Звинчук журналистам.
Он отметил, что специальные службы, в числе которых госкорпорация "Ростех", также приложили усилия для его возвращения в Россию.
