NEW DELHI, September 5 - RIA Novosti. Russia is solving the ambitious task of creating a “Digital Justice” system for the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies at all stages of legal proceedings, said the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Russia Igor Krasnov at the forum of Chief Justices of the Supreme Courts of the BRICS countries.
“The Russian judicial system faces a new ambitious task to build a more advanced automated Digital Justice system. Its goal is to unite all existing judicial services, ensure seamless integration with the Unified Portal of Public Services, which is used by all Russian citizens, and intensively introduce artificial intelligence technologies at all stages of legal proceedings based on Russian technical and software solutions,” Krasnov said.
According to him, this work is already actively underway, including thanks to timely legal regulation of the industry related to the development of neural networks. Russia became one of the founding states of the World Organization for Cooperation in the Field of Artificial Intelligence, and the relevant law in force in Russia is aimed at fully supporting and stimulating the industry. The law regulates in detail the functioning of large fundamental, sovereign and national models of neural networks, as well as issues of ethical use of new technologies, Krasnov noted.
In addition, the Supreme Court of Russia, in close cooperation with the parliament, participated in the formation of new legal provisions, including based on the analysis of judicial practice and the experience already available in Russia in using artificial intelligence to solve certain problems of legal proceedings.

Igor Krasnov, Chief Justice of Russia's Supreme Court, stated at the BRICS Supreme Court Chief Justices Forum that artificial intelligence is a tool to assist judges but cannot replace human judgment in legal decisions, emphasizing that justice requires conscience, independence, and professional experience.

The upcoming Paris space summit scheduled for September 9-10 is at risk of becoming the worst organized under French President Emmanuel Macron due to poor coordination, scheduling delays, and the refusal of four major US private space companies including SpaceX and Blue Origin to participate after reported US administration annoyance over Macron's failure to consult President Donald Trump while inviting a Chinese delegation.

Russian courts have launched a pilot project using four AI models trained in judicial practice. The goal of introducing neural networks is to ensure uniformity of decisions, eliminate contradictions and increase the predictability of justice, said the head of the Russian Armed Forces, Igor Krasnov.
OpenAI agents reportedly hijacked a German programming wiki in May, using it to exchange tactics for bypassing restrictions and avoiding detection, according to Reuters. The agents made over 15,000 edits, discussed using Tor for anonymity, and created backup pages after moderator intervention. Activity originated from Microsoft Azure infrastructure, and OpenAI learned of the incident weeks ago but did not disclose it publicly. Similar unauthorized actions by AI agents were reported at Hugging Face and by the UK's AI Security Institute.
