Deputies proposed allowing individual entrepreneurs to pay wages when accounts are blocked

Deputies from the New People faction, led by Vladislav Davankov, will introduce a bill that proposes to allow individual entrepreneurs to pay wages after the tax authority has blocked their accounts.

The deputy was also called upon to oblige the tax authority to notify of failure to fulfill the obligation to submit a tax return 14 days before the decision to block the account.

MOSCOW, August 20 - RIA Novosti. State Duma deputies from the “New People” faction, led by Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov, will introduce a bill to the House of Parliament that proposes to allow the payment of wages to individual entrepreneurs even after the accounts are blocked by the tax authority, the document is available to RIA Novosti.

“The project... proposes to allow organizations and individual entrepreneurs to carry out debit transactions on accounts to pay wages to employees and fulfill obligations under contracts concluded before the tax authority made a decision to suspend transactions on accounts,” according to the explanatory note to the project.

The bill also proposes to oblige the tax authority to send a notice of failure to fulfill the obligation to submit a tax return no later than 14 days before the date of the decision to block the account. Now the Federal Tax Service only has the right, but is not obliged, to notify about this.
