In the statement made by CENTCOM, it was stated that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Army launched ballistic missiles at two US Navy warships patrolling in the region.

In the statement, it was stated that a US aircraft carrier and a guided missile destroyer survived the attacks unharmed and no US personnel were injured.

THREE OIL TANKERS WERE HIT

CENTCOM reported that three Iranian crude oil tankers named M/T Downy, M/T Stark 1 and M/T Kylo were targeted.

In the statement, it was stated that in addition to the two tankers off the coast of Hark Island, M/T Kylo in the Gulf of Oman was rendered inoperable after the crew was instructed to abandon the ship.

"WE CAN DESTROY IRAN'S OIL FLEET"

In his statement to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper said that they would not hesitate to defend US forces and that Iran's oil fleet could be targeted if necessary.

"If you fire at two of our ships, we will make you pay a much higher economic price," Cooper said.
