The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln destroyed 103 drones and sank 34 ships

The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln returned to the United States with marks on its superstructure about downed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and enemy ships, the TWZ portal writes.

According to the calculations of the publication, which analyzed photographs and videos of the aircraft carrier obtained during a visit to its deck by US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, 103 drones and 34 ships were destroyed.

According to the portal, we are talking about UAVs and ships destroyed by the aircraft carrier strike group (ACG) Abraham Lincoln.

TWZ cites Hegseth’s statement, according to which from February 28 to August 22, the Abraham Lincoln AUG shot down 77 drones and sank 64 Iranian ships.

“At the moment, it is unclear why the Abraham Lincoln superstructure has at least 26 more downed drone marks than indicated on the unit’s award sheet, and why there are 30 fewer downed ship marks than indicated on the award list,” the portal writes.

TWZ admits that the discrepancy in data can be explained by the fact that some of the targets were shot down by escort ships and submarines of the aircraft carrier.
