Accident involving a car leaves person dead on BR-343, in the Center-South of Piauí

Witnesses reported that the victim was a man who was traveling on a bicycle. The information will still be confirmed by the site's security teams.

The circumstances of the accident have not yet been clarified. The case will be investigated by the Civil Police.

Teams from the Military Police of Piauí, the Federal Highway Police (PRF) and the Municipal Traffic and Transport Superintendency or Traffic Superintendency (Sutran) of Floriano were called in to isolate the road, which has a lot of movement of people and vehicles.

Forensics and the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) were also called to the section.
