Minister of Justice Gürlek emphasized justice reforms in the 2027-2029 MTP

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek made an evaluation about the 2027-2029 period MTP announced by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. Gürlek, in his statement on his virtual media account, said, "In line with the 2027-2029 Medium Term Program prepared as a result of the work carried out under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and under the coordination of our Vice President, Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz; we will determinedly continue our reforms that will increase the effectiveness of our justice services, facilitate access to justice and strengthen legal predictability. We will make the judicial processes more effective, further strengthen alternative dispute resolution methods, "We will expand the practices for resolving disputes through arbitration," he said.

'WE WILL CREATE SPECIALIZED COURTS IN NEW AREAS OF NEED'

Gürlek emphasized that they will develop digital solution platforms, online dispute and electronic hearing methods in order to improve access to justice and the right to be tried within a reasonable time, and said, "It will create specialized courts in new areas of need; will strengthen training studies for specialization, especially in intellectual and industrial property rights courts; will update the enforcement and bankruptcy legislation in line with today's conditions; will carry out legislative studies to prevent the abuse of the concordat institution and eliminate the disruptions caused by its application in commercial life; and electronic notification." "We will continue to work for a more reliable and predictable justice system where our citizens can access justice more quickly and effectively, and where disputes are resolved in a reasonable time.
