According to the statement made by the Ministry of Justice, Gürlek spoke at the 10th Provincial Boards of Directors Training Camp organized by the Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) in Kızılcahamam.

Gürlek said that TÜGVA makes a great effort to raise faithful, conscious, honorable, knowledgeable and self-confident youth who hold tightly to national and spiritual values and are aware of its mission, and noted that TÜGVA has touched the lives of more than 1.5 million young people with the activities it carries out throughout the year.

Emphasizing that, as the Minister of Justice, they always consider protecting young people as a top priority, Gürlek continued as follows: "We are fighting with all the power we have to keep our young people away from all kinds of actual and intellectual attacks, dirty networks of organized structures, traps set up as projects, and the diseased elements of the age. Let our young people be sure of this, we are extremely determined to break any hand of discord that reaches out to you. This is our most important manifesto that we will never compromise on. We will not step back against any criminal focus that targets the future of our young people." "We will continue to stand by our youth with the power of law and protect their hopes and future."

"AS LONG AS WE ARE STRONG, THE OPPRESSED WILL LOOK AT THE FUTURE WITH HOPE"

Minister Gürlek stated that no one can create a barrier in front of the rising youth and advised the young people to be strong, to have self-confidence and not to give up the fight against the negativities they face.

Pointing out that Türkiye is hope not only for its own citizens but also for the oppressed societies in different geographies of the world, Gürlek said, "Know that all the oppressed people of this geography pin their hopes on us, you. Never forget that the last bastion of the ummah, friendly and brotherly nations is the State of the Republic of Turkey. As long as we are strong, the oppressed will breathe and look to the future with hope." he said.

"DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PROCITATIONS THAT WILL MAKE OUR SCALED WOUNDS BLEED"

Emphasizing that the "Terror-free Turkey" goal offers a historical opportunity to strengthen social unity and solidarity, Gürlek said, "We have opened a new page on the path to a Terror-free Turkey. When you return to our 81 provinces, fill this new page with your words and works that increase national unity and brotherhood. Focus especially on discourses and actions that will strengthen our internal front. Do not fall for provocations and do not be deceived by provocations that will bleed our scabbed wounds." he said.

Gürlek stated that the goal of the Turkey Century can be realized with the common will of all segments of the society, and said that a Türkiye that directs the energy, knowledge and labor of young people to the development of the country will further strengthen the environment of prosperity and peace.

Reacting to Israel's policies in the region, Gürlek said, "A strong Türkiye, which gives confidence to brotherly societies in its region, will continue to instill fear in evil centers that embrace oppression and occupation, such as the Israeli terrorist state." he said.

"A CRIME WILL OF COURSE COME TO THE FACE ONE DAY"

Referring to the Gülistan Doku investigation, Gürlek said that the Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor gave him important information about the investigation after he took office as minister.

Stating that the Chief Public Prosecutor shared with him his assessment that the incident was not a suicide and that the son of a senior civil administrator of the period was connected to the incident, Gürlek said, "I also examined the file and looked at it. I said, 'Let's go to the end of this matter, no matter who it is'. We actually went to the end. We saw that it was not a suicide, but a murder. This incident affected us very much." he said.

Reminding that they created a special unit within the ministry to shed light on unsolved murders, Gürlek said, "No matter how dark a crime is buried, it will come to light one day. This is the basic duty of the state." he said.

Stating that the file regarding the incident in which Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu lost his life was also examined, Gürlek said, "Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu also remained unsolved. Thank God, we are now on the path to clarification in that file." He made a statement.

Gürlek stated that the file regarding the murder of Uğur Mumcu was also re-examined and reminded that he met with Mumcu's wife Güldal Mumcu at the ministry.

Gürlek underlined that there is no discrimination based on the identities of people or their positions in society in clarifying unsolved cases, and said: "I always say this, there will be no unsolved action left. The state will definitely reveal it and, within the framework of justice, one day, it will hold these people to account before the law. We are fighting determinedly against unsolved murders and unsolved incidents. We especially support our brothers, prosecutors and chief prosecutors, to fight until the end on this issue, and it is very nice and positive." "We have achieved results. This reflects positively on us. Everywhere we go, they say 'God bless us' and we are appreciated. If a person commits a criminal act, the state will never forgive this. We, as the Ministry of Justice, are obliged to do our part."

"WE WILL FIGHT STREET GANGS TO THE END"

Answering the questions of young people in the program, Gürlek said, "What are the activities carried out to protect children and young people from the criminal environment, to prevent them from being dragged into crime and to reintegrate them into society?" He answered the question: "Unfortunately, criminal organizations use especially our young people under the age of 18. We have seen this. I will not name them, they recruit new generation criminal organizations and deceive our children from Adana, Gaziantep and Diyarbakır with their luxurious lives. Then they put a gun on their waist and say, 'Come on, do this action.' Now, of course, there was a gap in the law here. As you know, we passed this through the Parliament. Now the term 'child pushed into crime' has changed, the term 'child under judicial process' has changed and the penalties given have been increased. In other words, criminal organizations will no longer be able to deceive and use our children and youth. In this regard, the penalties for those who instigated, encouraged, and the children involved in this action were increased approximately twofold. "We are definitely not making any concessions to this right now."

Explaining that they are constantly carrying out operations against criminal organizations, Gürlek said, "There is order where the state exists. It is the duty of the law to ensure order. If the state gives us this duty, we will ensure order and public order. We will fight against criminal organizations and street gangs to the end, uncompromisingly on this issue." he said.

Minister Gürlek emphasized that young people should be made aware of the danger of drugs and illegal betting.

Pointing out that the lives of some social media influencers, celebrities and YouTubers, who are seen as role models in society, create a wrong perception on young people, Gürlek said regarding the drug operations carried out in Istanbul, "We did not discriminate. In fact, we did these because young people should be taken as bad models, not role models." he said.

Gürlek stated that the state can continue its existence as long as it rules with justice and said, "Thankfully, the Republic of Turkey is a state of law. Our citizens trust and apply for justice. They continue to seek their rights by independent courts within the scope of fair trial." he said.

Minister Gürlek took a souvenir photo with the young people at the end of the program.
