Operation against 2 criminal organizations in 3 provinces based in Adana: 65 detentions

Under the coordination of the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the investigation into the organized crime organizations "Kulsunlar", led by Mehmet Reşit Aktay, and "Aylar", led by Abdurrahman Ay, which were determined to be involved in many crimes such as "Attempted intentional murder", "Aggravated looting", "Shooting of workplaces and residences", "Threats with a gun", "Damage to property" and "Opposition to Law No. 6136". was carried out.

The identities of 65 suspects, who were identified as members of two criminal organizations, were identified through technical and physical follow-up by the teams of the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch of the Provincial Police Department.

It was determined that the suspects tried to recruit members of the organization by making propaganda through virtual media, and demanded extortion by threatening to kill business people they called from foreign phone numbers. It was also stated that the 'Kulşunlar' criminal organization shot Nurmuhammed Musaoğlu, the 15-year-old son of Ercüment Musaoğlu, the 15-year-old son of Ercüment Musaoğlu, the owner of a business selling cleaning products for which he was demanding extortion, in the head with a gun on October 19, with the intention of killing him.

THE SUSPECTS ARE IN SAFETY

Following these findings, KOM teams carried out an operation in 3 provinces based in Adana and raided many determined addresses simultaneously. During the searches carried out at the addresses, 65 suspects for whom there were arrest warrants were detained.

It was reported that the interrogations of the suspects who were taken to the police are continuing.
