Russia claims UN is not sending experts to Ukrainian crime scenes because of refusal to travel through Moscow

The United Nations (UN) does not send its experts to the scenes of crimes committed by Ukraine because it does not want them to travel through Moscow. This was announced by Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

He noted that for this reason Russia has to remotely transmit information about Kyiv’s actions to the world organization with the help of intermediaries and teleconferences.

“The main obstacle on the part of the UN, which was until recently, was their attempts from the series “should you check or go?” Because they say: we, of course, can send experts, but only from Kyiv, because we believe that this territory belongs to Ukraine,” the diplomat said.
