The Chiayi City police discovered a suspicious-looking vehicle last night. During the investigation, two men got out of the car and fled into the grass. Due to the dim visibility in the area, the police called out warmly and said that the grass was infested with snakes and rats. The two men later walked out of the grass on their own and admitted that they were defrauding riders and collectors. The police arrested the two people and seized 260,000 yuan in cash and two mobile phones. The whole case was transferred to the Chiayi District Prosecutor's Office for investigation on suspicion of fraud and money laundering prevention laws.

While on patrol at 9:20 last night, police officers from the North Town Police Station of the Chiayi City First Branch found a passenger car idling and acting suspiciously next to the parking lot at the bottom of Jiazhu Road. They immediately went to investigate. The car reversed and refused to be inspected. Two men in the car got out and fled into the grass.

The police immediately notified the police for support. Director Chen Shengjie led dozens of police officers to the scene to start a search. Because the scene was dark and the visibility was poor, there was potential danger. The police officers continued to persuade with warm words and told them that there might be snakes and rats. The two men finally walked out of the grass on their own. The police investigation found that the two men were fraudulent riders and collectors, and followed the clues to find out that the victim surnamed Li had indeed been defrauded.
