"At least one person has been confirmed dead and more than 30 are missing... after a ferry sank off the coast of Vanuatu," the report said.

It is noted that the ship MV Matui sank on Friday with dozens of people on board, including crew members. The shipwreck occurred between the islands of Amba and Espiritu Santo. Fifteen people were rescued.
