本屆亞運網球女雙我國重現「金包銀」盛況,謝淑薇/梁恩碩及詹皓晴/吳芳嫺這兩組搭檔一路過關斬將,最終會師決戰;上屆杭州亞運詹皓晴女雙奪冠,梁恩碩則屈居亞軍。如今這4位女將都是職業好手,其中經驗豐富的謝淑薇,擁有7座大滿貫女雙冠軍,以及2座混雙金盃,「小鋼砲」梁恩碩今年勇闖法國公開賽與溫布頓錦標賽女雙4強;至於詹皓晴曾打入溫網女雙及混雙決戰,並與吳芳嫺贏得兩座WTA250等級巡迴賽冠軍。
