Zakharova called Ukraine's demands to deprive Russian figure skaters of neutral status immoral

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responded to the desire of the Ukrainian side to cancel the neutral status of Russian figure skaters. Her words are quoted by Match TV.

Zakharova said that the demands are meaningless and dictated only by “powerless anger.” She called the actions another “immoral and indecent” step on the part of the “terrorist regime,” which “does not disdain anything” just to “stay afloat.”

Earlier, the Ukrainian Figure Skating Federation (UFFK) appealed to the International Skating Union (ISU) with a request to reconsider the decision to allow a number of Russian athletes to compete in a neutral status.
