MOSCOW, September 11 - RIA Novosti. The improvement of the territory of the industrial park "AFI Prom Altufyevo", which is being built as part of the city program for stimulating the creation of employment opportunities (MPT), is being completed in the north-east of Moscow, said the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy (DIPP) of the city Anatoly Garbuzov.
“The modern industrial infrastructure of Moscow is not only technologically advanced production spaces, but also a high-quality environment for employees. Therefore, when implementing new projects, much attention is paid to landscaping the surrounding areas. In the industrial park in the Otradnoye district, more than 1.4 thousand trees, shrubs and climbing plants will be planted, bicycle parking and benches will be installed, modern lighting and electric charging stations will be equipped,” the press service of the capital’s DIPP quotes Garbuzov as saying.
He added that at the moment the work has already been completed by 85%.
The implementation of the project at all stages is controlled by Mosgosstroynadzor. As noted by the chairman of the committee, Anton Slobodchikov, specialists carried out two on-site inspections on the project, where they were able to assess the compliance of the scope of work performed and the materials used with the requirements of the project documentation.
The industrial park with an area of over 130 thousand square meters is designed to accommodate light and manufacturing enterprises, as well as companies in the innovation sector, the press service specified. After the complex is put into operation, 3.5 thousand new jobs will be created here, of which 1.3 thousand are related to the MPT program.
According to AFI Development General Director Evgeniy Potashnikov, a balanced infrastructure ecosystem will be created at the site, not only production facilities will appear, but also offices, cafes and shops, and comfortable recreation areas for enterprise employees. Construction of the first stage will be completed this year.
A special feature of the project is its multi-level organization. "AFI Prom Altufyevo" will become a four-story industrial park of light industrial format with car ramps. Thanks to them, freight transport will be able to rise to the production premises on each floor.
The MPT program has been implemented since 2020. It covered almost all districts of the capital. Investors will build over 300 objects with a total area of 9.7 million square meters. Thus, new industrial enterprises, office and shopping centers, educational, cultural and sports institutions will appear. In total, more than 3.5 trillion rubles will be attracted to the development of Moscow. This will create about 450 thousand new jobs in almost all sectors of the city’s economy.
