The Coast Guard's Kinmapeng Branch stated that today it once again detected a Chinese Coast Guard ship intruding into the restricted waters of Kinmen. After our coast guard vessels conducted one-on-one and simultaneous monitoring, and responded closely, the four Coast Guard ships were quickly driven away from the restricted waters. This is the second consecutive day and the fourth time in four days that Chinese coast guard ships have intruded into Kinmen waters.

The Kinmapeng Branch pointed out that at a time when the northeast monsoon was intensifying and the walrus was bad, at around 9 o'clock in the 12th patrol area, four coast guard ships "14527", "14604", "14531" and "14608" were detected gathering and approaching outside the southern waters of Kinmen. Although the walrus was not good, the coast guard We immediately dispatched patrol boats forward to deploy, despite strong winds and waves, and responded strongly throughout the entire process. When the coast guard ship broke into the restricted waters, we immediately adopted one-on-one navigation monitoring and broadcast announcements in Chinese and English. With the close response of the coast guard boats throughout the entire process, all four coast guard ships left the restricted waters of Kinmen at 11:13 am.

The Coast Guard pointed out that the Chinese Coast Guard used the same formation to intensively intrude into the restricted waters of Kinmen for two consecutive days, which is obviously a planned gray zone intrusion operation. In particular, China ignored the strengthening of the northeast monsoon and the deterioration of the walrus and still intruded into our waters at will, which not only seriously interfered with the normal navigation order of ships, but also significantly increased the risks of maritime operations.
