Chinese director Zhang Yimou attended the 39th China Golden Rooster Awards Forum and expressed concern that the impact of short films and AI on the film industry may stop audiences from going to theaters. He predicted that within 3 to 5 years, AI-generated images will be able to look real and fake, and revealed that an AI task force has been set up to assist with visual design in preparation for the science fiction movie "The Three-Body Problem."
