[Reporter Fang Weijie/Reporting from Taipei] Hon Hai (2317) expanded its AI smart medical layout and joined hands with Xiangbao Zunrong Long-term Care Group to introduce AI to the front line of long-term care. It has been deployed in three real-life care venues in Taoyuan Baozhilin, Taiyuan Xiangbao and Yide Rizhao Center. The demonstration has been launched, combining technologies such as smart wear, AI computing, and device-cloud integration, and introducing the CoDoctor series and Nurabot nursing collaborative robot to verify the integration of health data and actual care processes. The next step will be to promote cross-field applications.
Xiangbao celebrates its 40th anniversary of long-term care services this year, and held a 40th anniversary celebration and opening ceremony at the Taipei International Care Expo. Vice President Hsiao Meiqin also attended the scene to witness the results of the smart long-term care cooperation promoted by Xiangbao and Hon Hai since November 2025. Both parties hope to promote AI from the technical side to the front line of long-term care through real field verification.
This cooperation between Xiangbao and Hon Hai not only introduces smart devices into long-term care institutions, but also starts from the daily care process and continues to observe the usage needs of the elderly, caregivers and system platforms in different situations in three areas, and examines how health data is connected with the care process as a reference for personalized health management and care decision-making.
On the elderly side, the two parties continue to collect daily health data through smart wearable devices, allowing the elderly to view heart rate, blood oxygen and other information, and gradually increase their independent participation in health management; on the care side, through personalized monitoring settings, abnormal information reporting and data integration, it helps caregivers understand the condition of the elderly, positioning AI as a tool to support care work, and establishing a "Human + AI" human-machine collaboration model.
The smart care solution introduced in this demonstration covers Hon Hai CoDoctor Pro, CoDoctor Home, CoDoctor Watch, and Nurabot nursing collaborative robot. It extends from products, software and hardware integration, terminal cloud platform, user experience to real field verification, promoting the development of smart long-term care from a single product to a complete solution.
In addition, both parties will also continue to examine the application of different products and solutions in the care process through field demonstrations, use actual use experience as a basis for subsequent product and service optimization, gradually verify the feasibility of cross-field applications, and explore a replicable and diffuse smart long-term care model.
Lin Zhehong, chairman of Xiangbao, said that the true "AI-Native Long Care" not only puts AI into long-term care, but also rethinks how long-term care operates. It has shifted from relying on manpower, regular measurement and passive processing in the past to continuous sensing, data assistance, personalized care and human-machine collaboration. In the future, it will continue to deepen its cooperation with Hon Hai, accumulate empirical experience in more diversified long-term care fields, and move from a single product to a platform solution.
