AK Party Deputy Chairman Ala: We will continue to defend peace against war

In his post on his NSosyal account, Ala stated that Türkiye has adhered to a single motto in solving regional and global problems since the past, and that this is "the guarantee of stability and peace".

Pointing out that this approach is more than a foreign policy choice, it is a historical and conscientious responsibility, Ala said:

"We have never deviated from this principle in every conflict, in every war, in every wave of mass migration in our region. This is the essence of our diplomatic efforts. This stance did not remain in words, but was also responded to on the field. Grain exports, which were in the shadow of the war in the Black Sea, became possible again with the agreement reached in Istanbul, thus bringing hope to the tables of millions of people beyond the continents. Istanbul was again the place where the negotiation table between Russia and Ukraine could be established. With the Ankara Process, tensions between Somalia and Ethiopia were resolved. "We took the lead to overcome it through dialogue."

Reminding that they showed that dialogue is possible under all conditions by bringing representatives of opposing fronts together under the same roof at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Ala said, "The issue is not just about mediation. We opened our doors to millions of people displaced by the war in our neighbor. We did not bargain with anyone for this, we did what was necessary in our conscience." made his assessment.

Emphasizing that they have expressed the massacres in Palestine, Gaza and this geography on every platform and that they have made an effort to provide aid wherever there is an oppressed person in the world, Ala said, "In line with this foreign policy vision shaped by the efforts of our President, we will continue to defend diplomacy against conflict and peace against war, without deviating from justice and equity both in our region and on a global scale." he said.
