AK Party General Secretary Eyyüp Kadir İnan, in his speech at the Konak Extended District Advisory Council Meeting held by his party at the Selahattin Akçiçek Cultural Center, said that strong politics means doing the right thing at the right time and in the right place.
Stating that they will not allow anyone to tarnish the cause that the AK Party organization has carried on its shoulders until today, İnan said, "We will not allow anyone to embarrass you or make you bow down. AK Party organizations are a steel will that has pushed aside the wheels of interest and prosperity." he said.
İnan pointed out that in politics, others can be swayed, lose their direction, and move away from the seriousness of the state.
Emphasizing that there is no possibility of AK Party cadres becoming complacent, stumbling or compromising their principles, İnan said:
"We are the only one who will repair what is broken in this country, complete what is missing, and carry the trust of the nation in the safest way. What needs to be done in serious issues such as allegations of corruption and irregularities reflected in the public is to defend the same law and morality for all parties. In our case, the one who makes a mistake is not only the subject of legal processes. It is also the subject of moral, conscientious and faith criteria. In our case, no one has any influence or privilege on the path of the AK Party. No matter what seat they sat in yesterday, no one has any office." "No matter what he carried, whoever did wrong to the trust of this nation goes to the court today and pays the price."
İnan continued his words as follows:
"Because in our country, no seat is superior to the nation's rights and justice. In the coming period, we will continue our struggle on two fronts. On one side, we will fight against the funders and these fund devils who covet our nation's sweat and savings. We cannot speak on behalf of the judiciary, but as a political institution, we will implement such regulations that we will strike like an iron fist on those who covet our nation's money. They will see what it is like to steal the nation's savings, be of good cheer."
İnan pointed out that on the other side, they will fight against Özgür Özel, who he claims took bribes from Mustafa Sarıgül and the mayoral candidates.
Claiming that there are many bribery allegations against Özgür Özel, İnan said, "He bought it at the gas station, he bought it at the pavilion, he bought it at the congress, now he found a new way, he bought it with a scarf. He bought it in Uşak, he bought it in Antalya. He bought it from Özkan Yalım, Muhittin Böcek, Mustafa Sarıgül. Its official name is New Party, its actual name is the new party of lies. However, by calling it new, the idea, mentality and way of doing politics of a political movement have been renewed." "There is no renewal by doing politics that is based on lies." he said.
Reminding Özgür Özel's words "I am the 10th deputy of Izmir", İnan said:
"Izmir is not a city where you can wander around without paying for the dirty bribes you received from Mustafa Sarıgül and his teammates. Don't get too excited, Özgür Özel. No one in Izmir will give you luxury whiskeys worth 3 thousand pounds as a gift, stay away from Izmir. No one here will give you 100 thousand dollars wrapped in scarves, stay away from Izmir."
AK Party General Secretary İnan concluded his speech as follows:
"No one in this city would leave bags worth 250 thousand dollars in the trunk of your car at night, stay away from Izmir. You have come to the end of the road now. Izmir and the entire Aegean Region are uprooting your network based on bribery and dirty deals. You are not a politician who can look at the faces of the AK Party cadres, Özgür Özel."
