Fatma Zehra Önen, daughter of AK Party Şanlıurfa Deputy, passed away.

Fatma Zehra Önen (23), daughter of AK Party Şanlıurfa Deputy Abdülkadir Emin Önen, fell ill after the operation she had last year. Önen was treated at the hospital. Finally, Önen, who was followed in intensive care, lost his fight for life.

According to DHA, the funeral of Önen, a third-year student of Galatasaray University French Language and Literature, will be buried in Kilyos Cemetery after the afternoon prayer at Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque tomorrow.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM KURTULMUŞ

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş, published a condolence message for Fatma Zehra Önen on her virtual media account. Kurtulmuş said, "I learned with sorrow the death of Fatma Zehra Önen, the precious daughter of my dear brother Abdülkadir Emin Önen, AK Party Şanlıurfa Deputy. May God have mercy on the deceased, and I wish patience and condolences to Abdülkadir Emin Önen, his family, relatives and loved ones. May he rest in peace."

AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik also said, "We are very saddened by the death of Fatma Zehra Önen, the beloved daughter of our Şanlıurfa MP Abdülkadir Emin Önen. We wish God's mercy to our daughter Fatma Zehra Önen. May she rest in peace. We offer our condolences and patience to our brother Abdülkadir Emin Önen and his entire family, especially his precious wife." (DHA)
