AKP Istanbul Deputy Serkan Bayram Speaks About the Fund Investigation and Detentions of Mayors

AKP Istanbul Deputy Serkan Bayram made statements about the "fund" investigation, the justice system and the detentions of mayors in the Çalar Saat program on NOW TV.

Bayram used harsh expressions against former Minister of Family and Social Policies and former AKP Deputy Chairman Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who was mentioned within the scope of the investigation.

“SO FATMA BETÜL CAN EAT?”

Making evaluations regarding the rights of disabled people, Bayram said:

"We took away the rights of many people, our disabled brothers and sisters. So that Fatma Betül could eat? And she also looks at social policies. No one should be sorry. Everyone should pay the price. My heart hurts now."

Bayram argued that the money movements brought up in the investigation should be clarified with documents and said, "He says he deposited it, the other one says he did not deposit it."

“WHOEVER IS IN THIS SHOULD CLEAN IT”

Stating that the investigation should not be limited to certain names, Bayram also requested that allegations regarding people mentioned in the AKP and the bureaucracy be investigated:

"It is said that there are deputy chairmen, there are people from the bureaucracy, there are deputy ministers. Whoever is involved in this should be cleared. Our party should be truly cleared."

Bayram made a connection between the trust in the justice system and the economy and said, "Let's ensure trust in justice. There is no investment in a place where there is no justice. Capital does not come to foreigners, they do not come, they run away."

REACTION TO THE DETENTION OF MAYORS

Bayram also criticized the detention method used in recent operations against mayors.

"It's a shame, the mayor was elected. We get it in the morning, why do we get it? If you call, it will come anyway. This is true for all our mayors."

Bayram continued his words by saying, "It's a shame, I mean, none of us have the right to mop up everything like this. I'm saying this clearly."
