"Major events and concerts attract thousands of fans, but also the attention of scammers." This is the warning with which the video released by the State Police opens. The message continues with a precise indication: "In recent days the possibility of scams regarding access codes has been reported. Therefore be careful of emails and announcements on social media promising tickets, particularly if they require immediate payments or personal data".
The invitation is therefore not to be guided by haste and to always check the origin of communications before proceeding with a purchase.
A central passage of the State Police notice concerns the codes used for presales. "For pre-sales of the concert, the access codes are personal, non-transferable and cannot be sold", specifies the Police, also recalling the indications spread by the Oasis staff.
Anyone receiving a communication should therefore carefully check the sender before using the code. The goal is to prevent authentic credentials from being imitated or fans paying for invalid codes.
The recommendation also concerns the channels through which tickets are offered. "Always verify the sender and use authorized sales platforms and official channels. Don't let the rush to buy a ticket become an opportunity for scammers", concludes the Police.
The advice is also not to provide passwords, payment card details or other personal information through links received in suspicious emails or messages and to pay attention to possible clone sites, which can reproduce the appearance of official platforms.
Added to the alert on possible scams is the phenomenon of secondary ticketing. According to what Codacons reported, some tickets for Oasis' Roman dates have already appeared on foreign resale platforms at prices much higher than the official ones.
For the date of July 26, again according to Codacons, the price of a single ticket would have reached almost 10 thousand euros. For the other two Roman dates, however, the maximum prices reported by the association would vary between 5 thousand and 7 thousand euros.
The Police therefore invites you to use official channels exclusively and to carefully check every communication received. For access codes, in particular, the Oasis staff has also indicated the authorized address for sending emails, which is only and exclusively the following: [email protected].
The warning comes as anticipation grows for Oasis' return to Rome, with three concerts scheduled for summer 2027. An occasion which, together with the interest of fans, has already attracted the attention of those trying to exploit the demand for tickets to carry out scams or resale practices at very high prices.
Oasis have released a new update on Oasis Live '27 ticket sales on social media, inviting fans to pay particular attention to possible scams. The message arrived on the day the last sales windows end (September 28, 2026) and also clarifies the band's position on tickets already appearing on secondary resale circuits.
In the post, Oasis write: “All codes have now been sent out, with the final sale windows happening today”. The group then continues with a warning aimed directly at the public: "Please avoid scams involving social media accounts selling codes or tickets. These will be fake or invalid".
Finally, comes the clarification on resale: "Tickets currently on secondary websites are liable to be cancelled. Resale tickets will be available nearer the events and only will be available, at the price originally paid, through Ticketmaster and Twickets". The translation is: "Tickets currently available on secondary websites may be cancelled. Tickets for resale will be available closer to event dates and will be available for purchase, at the price originally paid, exclusively through Ticketmaster and Twickets."
The band recommends fans to use only the indicated channels and warns against offers circulating on social media and secondary resale sites.
