Weather warning in Liguria and violent storms with landslides and disruption in Como

The orange alert for thunderstorms in the Center - Levante of Liguria went off at 6am this morning and will remain active until 2pm. The Po Valley slopes of Ponente are on yellow alert. During the night and in the early hours of the morning, precipitation particularly affected the extreme Levant of the region, with 41.8mm of maximum hourly intensity in Casale di Pignone (La Spezia). At the moment there are no particular critical issues, although thunderstorms continue to develop in the Central Levante: in Vobbia (Genoa) 45mm were recorded in the last hour. The regional civil protection operations room will remain open for the entire duration of the alert.
