Amputee National Team continues its preparations for the 2026 World Cup in Erciyes

Before the 2026 World Cup, which will be held between 13-22 November in San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico, the Turkish Amputee National Team continued its preparations at the Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center at an altitude of 1,850 meters within the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, under the management of coach İsmail Temiz.

Amputee National Football Team's midfielder Halil İbrahim Esen made statements about his camp training before the 2026 World Cup, in which he is preparing to play for the first time.

Stating that their opponents are more motivated on the field because they are at the top, Halil İbrahim Esen said, "We came here because of the high altitude center. We do our camps here. We will leave here and come back here in a week. We have a nice family atmosphere with the young people and our brothers. Hopefully, we will wave the flag we inherited from our older brothers at the top again. We have been to the Balkan Cup before. We won the championship there. We went to the Nations League. We also had an unfortunate defeat against Poland in the Nations League. "We came in second. Of course, we are constantly fueled by his ambition. It is very difficult to beat the person at the top, so everyone is in different positions. They are more ambitious than their other competitors. They are doing their best to beat us."
