I am amazed that my name appeared in this list, also because I am simply the mayor of a town that hosts the USAF Base, but I have no influence whatsoever on what happens inside it, underlines the mayor, excluding the need to adopt particular measures for one's own safety. Nothing has been reported to me that suggests any risk to personal or family safety.

However, Tassan-Zanin reported the threats to the Postal Police and received reassurances from the institutions on the strengthening of IT security. I took advantage of the opportunity to bring together the municipal team specialized in cybersecurity precisely to increase controls, given the increasingly important importance that this sector also has for local authorities, he explains.

The presence of the American military base on Aviano territory could be the origin of the mayor's inclusion among the subjects identified by the hacker group, considered close to the Russian military secret service. I have no role or expertise that allows me to intervene in the activities of the base, specifies Tassan-Zanin.

In the list of NoName057, the name of the mayor of Aviano appears together with those of the Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, the prosecutor Francesco Lo Voi and Ivano Gabrielli, director of the Postal Police and Cyber ​​Security service.
