Third wave operation was carried out in the drug and prostitution investigation in Ankara

The third wave operation was carried out within the scope of the drug and prostitution investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. While 15 suspects were detained during the operation, it was reported that efforts were continuing to capture 6 suspects.

SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION ON 21 SUSPECTS

Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Smuggling, Narcotics and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, a simultaneous operation was carried out against 21 suspects.

During the operation, S.K., U.H.A., M.A., O.G.D., R.Ç.B., B.Y., B.D., E.B., E.E., E.A.Y., E.G., M.S., E.Y., E.N.A. and K.C. He was detained.

Various amounts of drugs were seized during the searches at the addresses. Marijuana and synthetic drugs were found in Ç.B.'s house, and E.E. Cocaine was found at the addresses of E.G. and E.G., and red prescription medicine was found at K.Ç.'s house.

64 SUSPECTS WERE REACHED IN THE INVESTIGATION

The investigation into drug and prostitution connections in the capital was launched against 14 suspects on August 7.

The investigation was expanded in line with the statements, digital materials, biological examinations and other evidence obtained in the first two waves.

With today's third wave operation, the number of suspects processed within the scope of the investigation increased to 64. It was reported that 32 suspects were arrested in this process, a judicial control order was issued for 7 suspects, and efforts are continuing to capture 10 fugitives.

LOCATIONS WERE ALSO INCLUDED IN THE SCOPE OF INVESTIGATION

In the second stage of the investigation, the operators of some entertainment and food and beverage venues and their related parties, which were considered to be linked to drug and prostitution activities, were also examined.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the investigation is not only aimed at people who use drugs, but is carried out comprehensively to reveal the people, environments and connections that direct young people to these environments.

It was stated that new operations may continue within the scope of the investigation in line with new evidence.
