Prostitution and drug operation in Antalya: 7 detained

The third wave operation, carried out by the Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was carried out on the crimes of 'Encouraging prostitution, facilitating prostitution, or intermediating or providing a place for prostitution' and 'Buying, accepting, possessing or using drugs or stimulants for use'. During the examinations carried out within the scope of the investigation, 7 suspects were identified. A simultaneous operation was organized in two cities today to capture 6 suspects living in Antalya and 1 suspect living in Istanbul. 7 suspects were caught and detained during the operation. It was stated that the suspects will be referred to the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office after their procedures at the police station.

CONNECTIONS OF GÜNEY, ARRESTED IN THE FIRST OPERATION, WERE EXAMINED

In the operation carried out in the previous phase of the investigation, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Youth Center Manager Tuğçe Güney was arrested. It was stated in the file that it was determined that 4 people, including Güney, acted as organizers. It was learned that Güney did not give the password to his mobile phone, and the investigation was expanded through other findings and connections obtained. It was claimed that the suspects detained in the last operation were determined as a result of investigations and findings carried out through Güney's connections. It was claimed that the structure under investigation has been operating systematically since 2021.
