Fuel Fuel Fight Between Shuttle Drivers in Arnavutköy Ended in Murder

The incident took place yesterday around 17.30 on Hadımköy District Ürgüplü Street. Allegedly, an argument broke out between the worker shuttle driver Mehmet Taştan and the shuttle minibus driver Özcan K. over fuel.

As the argument escalated, Özcan K. opened fire on Taştan, who was in his vehicle, with the gun next to him. Taştan, who was hit by 4 bullets in his body, was seriously injured. Özcan K. fled the area with his vehicle.

Following the incident, surrounding security cameras were examined. In the footage, it was seen that after the argument between the two drivers, the suspect took out his gun and fired, while the surrounding people ran away in panic upon hearing the gunshots.

HE DIED HIS LIFE IN THE HOSPITAL

Upon notice, health and many police teams were dispatched to the scene. Mehmet Taştan, who was seriously injured, was taken to Hadımköy Doctor Niyazi Kurtulmuş Hospital after the first intervention of the medical teams. Despite all the interventions made here, Taştan could not be saved and lost his life.

HE RUN AWAY, THE POLICE CAUGHT

Arnavutköy District Police Department teams started an operation to catch Özcan K., who escaped after the incident, and stopped the vehicle driven by the suspect on Haraççı-Hadımköy Yolu Street. It was learned that Özcan K., who was taken into custody, said that he threw the gun he used in the incident on the side of the road.
