ASELSAN's Guidance Systems were Successfully Tested in Konya

According to the statement made by ASELSAN, laser guidance kits (LGK) were tested in front of military officials from more than 15 countries at the Guidance Systems International Demo Activity held at Konya Karapınar Shooting Test Range.

Within the scope of the demo, two LGK-84 ammunition was fired from the F-16 platform, one LGK-82 and one GÖZDE ammunition were fired from the AKINCI SİHA platform. The first LGK-84 armored personnel carrier hit the target, the second LGK-84 hit the tank target, and LGK-82 hit another armored personnel carrier target. GÖZDE ammunition successfully neutralized a target moving at 50 kilometers per hour. All four shots hit their targets accurately.

LGK-82 and LGK-84 once again proved their high-precision strike capability against fixed ground targets. GÖZDE Guidance Kit once again demonstrated the operational reliability of the system by providing full accuracy in moving and high-speed movements.
