An unknown drone fell near the Bundeswehr air base near Hannover

An unknown unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell near the Bundeswehr air base near Hannover, Germany. Bild reports this.

“Following the discovery of parts of a crashed drone east of Lake Steinhuder, a large-scale police operation is underway,” the publication states.

According to the publication, law enforcement officers began searching for the wreckage of the drone. The scene of the incident is located away from residential buildings. It is noted that the origin of the drone, as well as the person who controlled it, remain unknown.
