A bizarre and thrilling car accident occurred on Minghu Road, East District, Hsinchu City this morning! An 18-year-old first-year male student surnamed Zhang from Yuanpei University of Medical Science and Technology was riding his motorcycle downhill when he collided with a small truck. After the violent impact, he flew into the air and flew into the rear compartment of the truck. He suffered fractures to his right hand and right foot and trauma to his left foot. He was sent to the hospital. The bizarre car accident scene was like a movie scene. Zhang was subsequently sent to the hospital for treatment by ambulance personnel. The detailed cause of the accident is still to be clarified by the police.

The Hsinchu City Fire Department pointed out that it received a report at about 10 a.m. this morning that a car accident occurred on Mingminghu Road, and immediately dispatched 2 vehicles and 5 police officers to the scene. Due to the violent impact, the front of the locomotive was almost completely destroyed, and body parts were scattered on the ground. The left side of the pickup truck was significantly dented after the impact, and large diesel stains were left on the ground. It is suspected that due to the force and angle of the impact, Mr. Zhang was thrown up and fell directly into the bed behind the pickup truck. He lay in the bed of the truck and was unable to move on his own for a time.

After the ambulance crew arrived, several police officers and firefighters climbed onto the bed of the truck. They first fixed the neck collar of Mr. Zhang who was lying on his back, checked his injuries, and completed the body fixation before assisting him in getting out of the trap. After examination, it was found that Mr. Zhang had fractures in his right hand and right foot, and also had trauma to his left foot. He was subsequently sent to the hospital for treatment by ambulance.

Firefighters also discovered a large amount of diesel on the ground at the accident site. At 10:50 a.m., they notified the Environmental Protection Bureau to dispatch personnel to deal with the problem to prevent the oil stains from affecting the safety of other passers-by. The police will subsequently review the surveillance cameras and clarify the driving routes of both parties.
