Mustafa Nada and Osama Al-Saidi face off in Riyadh to resolve the historical conflict

Ten years after their last confrontation, Saudi Mustafa Nada and Egyptian Osama Al-Saidi return to the cage again to resolve the conflict between them, in the main fight of the evening organized by the Professional Fighters League, scheduled for the second of next October on the world stage in Boulevard City in the capital, Riyadh.

The third confrontation between Nada and Al-Saeedi has a special character, after the two fighters shared victory in their previous fights. Neda decided the first confrontation by the referees’ decision, before Al-Saidi responded by winning via technical knockout in the second meeting in 2016.

The two fighters will engage in the anticipated confrontation without a title at stake, but with the aim of determining the advantage in the record of their direct confrontations, while the evening represents the expected return of Mustafa Nada to the competitions after an absence due to a broken arm.

The Riyadh ticket will witness six matches in the semi-finals of the “BFL MENA” tournament, to determine the finalists in the welterweight, featherweight and light weights.

In the welterweight competitions, Moroccan Badr Al-Din Diani, who has a prominent background in the sport of sambo, faces Jordanian Hazem Kayali, one of the rising names in the tournament, who was previously crowned at the amateur level.

In the second confrontation of the same weight, the Palestinian Omar Hussein will meet the Algerian Abdel Karim Zawad, after the two fighters reached the semi-finals with two decisive victories. Hussein qualified by knockout, while Zawad decided his previous fight by submission.

As for the featherweight division, Bahraini Hamza Al-Kooheji will meet Algerian Elias Boudqazdam, while Tunisian Mahdi Al-Saadi will continue his return to competitions after a two-year absence due to injuries, when he faces Syrian Shadi Kabbani.

Qabbani entered the tournament as a substitute in the last moments, before making his way to the semi-finals, putting him one victory away from reaching the final of the tournament.

In the lightweight competition, Algerian Elias Giron, who ousted Salah Eddine Hamli, champion of the 2025 edition, faces Egyptian Basil Shaalan, one of the most prominent surprises of the current season.

In the other fight for the same weight, Iraqi Mohamed Fahmy returns to continue his chase for the title he lost in the final of last season, when he faces Egyptian Ahmed El-Sisi, searching for a ticket to the final.

The evening also includes an exhibition confrontation between the Lebanese Hassan Shaaban and the Egyptian Assem Ghanem, in addition to an amateur fight that brings together Saudi Fatima Al-Ammari and Algerian Aya Lounas.

The confrontation represents a new step for Al-Amari in her career with mixed martial arts, after she had previously spoken about her desire to participate in the “BFL MENA” tournaments since she was sixteen years old.
