Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı's call for cleanliness in Turkish football

Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı made a statement to TRT Spor. Adalı spoke for the "Referees File".

Serdal Adalı argued that the island given to the league should be extended if necessary in order to clean Turkish football.

Serdal Adalı's statements are as follows:

"I don't know how appropriate it is for us to talk about this issue while the judicial process is ongoing, but it is impossible not to talk about some things.

During my presidency, I voiced and fought against the things that were not going well in MHK as much as I could. I have always said that this is more than just about Beşiktaş, it is a situation that affects the current situation in Turkish football. At the point we have reached today, in parallel with everything we have said in the last year, the matter has been taken to the judicial authorities. Probably 7-8 people are being questioned right now.

I said on the first day, our priority is Beşiktaş, I am looking for my own club, but Turkish people have no other taste than football, I was saying that no one should be allowed to play with this taste and the necessary operation was performed.

My expectation is that it goes all the way, to the bottom. This is my expectation that everything will be cleaned down to the smallest detail. I want it not only for my own club, but for Turkish football. The matter is with the judicial authorities. "I wholeheartedly believe that what is necessary will be done."
