Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting with Extraordinary Elections was Completed in Beşiktaş, New Members Made Statements

Voting has been completed and counting has started at the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting of Beşiktaş Club. New board members Mete Düren and İpek Gençer Yağcı, who are on President Serdal Adalı's list, made special statements to Demirören News Agency (DHA) about the congress process and the new term.

Mete Düren, who is on the new board of directors, stated that he has never broken away from the community and said that he accepted this position with great pride with the favor of chairman Serdal Adalı. Drawing attention to the importance of the high participation in the single-candidate election, Düren said:

"I can't say that I ever walked away, we were with you anyway. However, this is a kindness from our president. He had made such an offer several times before, but it was not possible due to workload. This time, he showed me his favor in a way that I could not break, so I accepted. Being in the management is one of the greatest honors and pride that a Beşiktaş congressman can experience. First of all, I would like to thank the community. They showed great support to both yesterday's financial congress and today's extraordinary elective congress. "This should be seen as a vote of confidence. It was an election with only one candidate, but the fact that the participation reached such a high number showed that the community will support us when the right things are done and with the right people. We know that having the support of such a community is very important not only for us, but also for the entire team, technical staff and players, to reach a happy end at the end of the season."
